Cindy grew up in Powder Springs, Georgia where she graduated from McEachern High School.  She then went on to attend Abraham Baldin Agricultural College in Tifton, Georgia and then settled in Rome, Georgia in 1997. Early in her career she worked for Life of Georgia Insurance Company in Atlanta, Georgia and then Universal Tax Systems in Rome, Georgia.  She then enjoyed being a stay-at-home mom when her children were young, then went to work for Floyd County Schools from 2008 to 2013.

Cindy became a licensed insurance professional in 2013 in Property & Casualty and Life & Health. She began her insurance career here at CVFG in 2014 and has enjoyed building relationships and serving both current and prospective clients by advising them on their insurance needs ever since! Cindy also enjoys being involved in the Rome-Floyd County community by participating in Chamber events, local fundraisers, and being on the leadership team for Rome Business Group.  She was honored to be voted Best Insurance Agent in Rome in 2023.

Cindy is married to Hal Bachman, and they have three children, Belle Tanner, Ezra Barnette, and Lauren Bachman.  She is involved at Concord Baptist Church, and she enjoys volunteering in children’s ministry, hospitality, and prison ministry.  She also enjoys spending time with her family, going on hikes, and camping.
